Friend of Health Science Award
(non-WI HSEA member)
The Friend of Health Science Award Award is presented to a person, organization, or business whose involvement aligns with the mission and goals of the Wisconsin Health Science Educators Association.
The Award winner’s work is an outstanding example of extraordinary leadership, collaboration, support, and/or advancement in Health Science education. The Friend of Health Science Award Award is given to a person or an organization that is a non-member of Wisconsin HSEA and agrees to make an appearance at the WI HSEA Annual Conference to receive the award. Additional details will be coordinated with the WI HSEA leadership team and the award winner.

Health Science Educator of the Year Award
(over 5 years teaching experience & WI HSEA member)
The Health Science Educator of the Year recognizes an exemplary teacher who utilizes innovative pedagogy to enhance student learning and gives visibility to health science at the elementary and secondary education levels. Nominees of this award must hold an eligible Wisconsin DPI license to teach health science and have completed five or more years of service in the field. Recipients may only receive the award one time and must be a member of Wisconsin HSEA.

Health Science Emerging Educator Award
(under 5 years teaching experience & WI HSEA member)
The Health Science Emerging Educator Award recognizes emerging teacher professionals who have exhibited the potential to make significant contributions to health science. Nominees of this award must hold an eligible Wisconsin DPI license to teach health science and have completed less than five years of service in the field. Recipients may only receive the award one time and must be a member of Wisconsin HSEA.
